Joseph Royer is a Chicago-area artist who draws inspiration from topics such as visual culture and art history, abstraction, nature, and personal lived experiences. He creates contemplative works which evoke identities, an exploration of meaning, and life informed by the natural world. A veteran educator, Joe stepped away from full-time teaching in 2017.
